Cathay Pacific Flies Into Dusseldorf

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways has commenced service to Düsseldorf. The inaugural flight arrived in the German city to a traditional water cannon salute from the airport’s fire brigade, witnessed by city officials, executives, invited guests and passengers.

Flight CX 375 departs Hong Kong at 0050 hrs every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Düsseldorf at 0715 hrs. The return service, flight CX 376, takes off from the Rhine city at 1320 hrs for a 0635 hrs landing back in Hong Kong the following day.

*Note: Due to trade winds, the route’s summer schedule will see an earlier arrival in Düsseldorf at 0640 hrs on the outbound leg and a later touch down at 0655 hrs in Hong Kong for the inbound sector.

Cathay Pacific will fly a Boeing 777-300ER with a 4-class configuration on the route. The 275-seat jet will offer 6 seats in First, 53 in Business, 34 in Premium Economy and 182 in Economy.

Düsseldorf becomes the Oneworld member’s second destination in Germany (after Frankfurt) and is part of its ongoing growth in Europe, which has seen flights to Manchester and Zurich introduced.
