Radisson Enters Indonesia With Double Openings

The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has debuted the Radisson brand in Indonesia, opening its first 2 resorts in Bali on 1 January 2016. Following a rebrand from their previous incarnations, the Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa and Radisson Bali Legian Camakila join the brand’s portfolio in Asia as part of a multi-property deal signed in October 2015.

Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa

Located in Nusa Dua a stone’s throw from the beach and the waters of Benoa Bay, the 181-key Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa offers the tranquility and small-town atmosphere combined with the comforts of a modern resort. Accommodation options range from airy guestrooms and suites to tropical-design villas, each furnished with amenities including comfortable bedding, spa-inspired bathroom, LCD television, complimentary high-speed internet access and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Dining options are varied with 5 outlets at the resort. The Tanjung Terrace Restaurant offers all-day Indonesian and international cuisine, while the recently revamped Benoa Bistro features a bistro-inspired menu and light bites. Situated on the beachfront, TAO Bali Restaurant and TAO Lagoon Pool Bar cater to beach-goers with views of the watersports and fishing boats offshore, as well as serving southeast asian favorites for a romantic dinner in the evenings. Rounding up the line-up is the swim-up Celepok Pool Bar.

Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa’s 329 square meters of event space (including the 280-square meter Puri Raja Ballroom) cater to meeting planners, while leisure guests can enjoy 2 outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis and volleyball courts, children’s playground, fitness centre and treatments at the Amadapa Spa.

Radisson Bali Legian Camakila

On the other side of the island behind Legian beach, the Radisson Bali Legian Camakila is 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and in close proximity to the popular Kuta and Seminyak districts. The 116 guestrooms and suites are furnished in a contemporary style with wood finishes and private balconies, exuding a feel reminiscent of a holiday home complete with the usual comforts and amenities expected from an international-branded resort.

Being a smaller property, the resort main dining offering comprises the Azaa Restaurant by the poolside serving local and international meals, complemented by the open-air Kila Lounge in the lobby. Higher up, the TAO Rooftop Bar is an ideal for mingling over signature cocktails and tapas to music and Bali’s famous sunset views.

2 meeting rooms with a combined 165 square meters of floor space can accommodate intimate events, while leisure facilities include a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, sauna and a full-service spa providing massages and treatments.

The 2 new Radissons in Bali will be followed by the launch of Indonesia’s first Radisson Red hotels, which are scheduled to open in Bali (2018) and Jakarta (2019). Carlson Rezidor currently has a further 5 properties under development in Indonesia – Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam, Radisson Jakarta Cengkareng, Radisson Medan and Park Inn by Radisson Lampung.
