Royal Jordanian Plans New Guangzhou Service

Oneworld member Royal Jordanian is set to launch new flights between Amman and Guangzhou, as it looks to expand its route network in profitable markets.

 

Beginning 21 March 2016, flight RJ 180 will depart Amman 3 times a week at 0210 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Bangkok at 1555 hrs. Following a short layover, the flight will depart the Thai capital at 1655 hrs (Wednesday and Friday) / 1715 hrs (Monday) to arrive in Guangzhou at 2025 hrs (Wednesday and Friday) / 2045 hrs (Monday). The return service, RJ 181, will take off from Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport at 2205 hrs and arrive in Bangkok at 2355 hrs, before continuing at 0115 hrs (Wednesday) / 0055 hrs (Monday and Friday) the next day to touch back down in Amman at 0530 hrs (Wednesday) / 0510 hrs (Monday and Friday).

 

The airline will operate its flagship Boring 787 Dreamliner on the new service, configured with 24 Crown Class and 246 Economy Class seats. Guangzhou will be its second Chinese destination after Hong Kong and its fifth in Asia, joining Bangkok, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
