Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Westin brand has made its debut in Qatar with the grand opening of The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa. A mere 20-minute drive from Hamad International Airport, the property lies in the heart of the Qatari capital just minutes from The central business district, museums and cultural venues.
A crisp limestone and glass facade flood the interior spaces with natural light and the atrium-like foyer is anchored by a custom art installation to evoke a modern sense of arrival to the 365-key property, where accommodation options include 5 expansive pool villas and an impressive presidential suite. Each is sumptuously furnished with the brand’s signature Westin Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Shower, as well as modern conveniences including a flatscreen television, high-speed internet access, ergonomic workstation and refreshment center.
The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa features 7 food & beverage venues, including the brand’s all-day dining venue, Seasonal Tastes, serving international and local specialties as well as items from the SuperFoodsRx menu, while 2 signature restaurants, Sabai Thai and Hunter’s Room & Grill, serve up Thai specialties and grilled favourites. Casual options include the Luxe Lounge with its choice of pastries, petit fours, chocolate pralines and a unique selection of quality coffees, aromatic and herbal oriental teas, together with the Waves Pool Cafe and Mix Bar, Lounge and Terrace.
