Scoot To Add Sapporo To Network

Singapore-based low cost carrier Scoot today announced the addition of Sapporo to its flying network, with flights to begin in October 2016. Hokkaido’s biggest city becomes the airline’s third Japanese destination after Tokyo (Narita) and Osaka.

 

Operating 3 times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flight TZ 216 departs Singapore at 0615 hrs, arriving in Taipei at 1035 hrs (Tuesday, Saturday) / 1045 hrs (Thursday) before taking off again at 1155 hrs to arrive at New Chitose International Airport at 1655 hrs (Tuesday, Saturday) / 1700 hrs (Thursday). Return flight TZ 215 is wheels up from Sapporo at 1930 hrs, landing at Taoyuan International Airport at 2305 hrs (Tuesday, Saturday) / 2310 hrs (Thursday). The aircraft departs Taipei at 0005 hrs (Wednesday, Sunday) / 0010 hrs (Friday) for a 0450 hrs arrival in Singapore.

 

The new flights also increases Scoot’s Singapore – Taipei (Taoyuan) service to 13 times weekly.

 

A 335-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, configured with 21 Scootbiz and 314 Economy class seats will be utilised on the route, with the jets also offering streaming inflight entertainment and onboard internet access.
