Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has added a new property in Abu Dhabi with the the opening of the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island.

 

A shimmering new landmark of luxury, the hotel occupies a prime waterfront location in the capital of the United Arab Emirates with breathtaking views of the waterfront promenade, city skyline and the Arabian Gulf. Engineered by PLP Architecture to the Estidama-Pearl 2 rating, the 34-storey building boasts a unique pattern of copper coloured “baguettes” over the windows providing shade while allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces designed by Richmond International and Hirsch Bedner Associates.

 

200 guestrooms and suites exude urban chic and understated luxury, featuring the brand’s signature Four Seasons Bed, spa-inspired bathroom with double vanity and separate rainforest shower and free-standing bathtub, 55-inch flatscreen television, high-speed internet access, a plush sofa for relaxing and an oval desk that doubles as a dining table. At 267 square meters and adorned with crystal chandeliers, ivory furnishings, hand-painted silks and exotic marble, the Royal Suite on the 13th floor is an elegant space fit for royalty, leaders and celebrities, who will enjoy panoramas of Abu Dhabi through floor-to-ceiling, double-storey windows.

 

Four Seasons veteran Executive Chef Giancarlo Di Francesco leads the culinary team and the dining venues of the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island. Market-themed restaurant Crust offers all-day dining in a relaxed, casual setting, complemented by the poolside Eclipse Terrace Lounge and Al Meylas, a sophisticated lobby lounge serving Middle Eastern cuisine and refreshments, while must-try drinks at stylish cocktail bar Zsa Zsa – named for the inimitable actress and international celebrity Zsa Zsa Gabor – include “Miss Hungary” and the sensory “Fire & Spice”.
