VietJet Adds Kuala Lumpur To Network

Fast-growing low cost carrier VietJet has launched flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur, adding the Malaysian capital to its network which now spans destinations in Myanmar, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.


Operating daily, flight VJ 825 departs Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 0930 hrs to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 1225 hrs. The return service, VJ 826, takes off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 1300 hrs and touches down in Ho Chi Minh City at 1355 hrs.


Flights will be operated using VietJet’s Airbus A320 aircraft, configured with 180 economy class seats. In addition to its standard economy offering, the airline offers its SkyBoss ticket class that affords passengers priority check in, complimentary 20kg baggage allowance, priority seat selection, airport lounge access, inflight meals and the flexibility to change flight dates and timings.


Launched in December 2011, Vietjet currently operates 250 flights each day with a fleet of 36 Airbus A320s and A321s. The airline recently made history when it ordered 100 Boeing 737 MAX 200 jets, the largest single commercial aviation deal in Vietnam.
