Carnival Adds 4-Day Bermuda Itineraries To Carnival Horizon Inaugural Season

Carnival Cruise Line’s new Carnival Horizon is to offer a series of 4-day Bermuda cruises from New York as part of her inaugural season in spring/summer 2018.

Dubbed “long weekend” cruises, the sailings will depart on Thursdays once a month from May through September 2018 and feature a full-day in Bermuda. Guests can relax on the island’s legendary pink beaches, enjoy watersports and visit its historical landmarks including the Royal Naval Dockyard and Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse.

Between these cruises, Carnival Horizon will operate longer 8-day roundtrip voyages that visit Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), San Juan, and Grand Turk. She then moves to Miami to offer a one-off 2-day cruise to Nassau before her regular 6- and 8-day Caribbean cruises year-round from Florida.

Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the ship is set to debut on 2 April 2018 with a 13-day Mediterranean itinerary from Barcelona, from where she will sail a series of introductory cruises before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to New York on 9 May 2018.

Carnival Horizon will offer many of the hugely popular indoor and outdoor dining, bar, entertainment and activity options that debuted on sister ship Carnival Vista, including the revolutionary SkyRide, an IMAX Theatre and a massive WaterWorks aqua park. Among her range of accommodations are spa cabins with exclusive privileges at the luxurious Cloud 9 Spa, larger staterooms in Family Harbor and the tropical-inspired Havana staterooms and suites with exclusive daytime access to a Cuban-themed bar and pool.
